Emily is a Thai-Korean-American illustrator specialising in storytelling through comics and paintings. Currently based in Costa Rica, her main inspiration to her artwork is nature.
Emily says “Nature is my biggest inspiration in my paintings because the lessons I learn from nature are similar to the life lessons I get from skateboarding. Nature is content with itself with an endless amount of patience, and nature teaches authenticity by giving you opportunities to be alone with yourself in a truly non judgmental environment. I always try to carry these lessons with me while I'm riding my board”
